1MK1TA

Event at National Crafts Museum

1MK1TA is an initiative by MITHILAsmita in partnership with National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy through which we aim to impart art education through online workshops to one million kids by onboarding one thousand women artists as ‘Gurus’ from rural parts of Bihar by the year 2027.

This programme aims to educate school children about the country’s intangible heritage and introduce them to authentic Indian art forms from various parts of the country and simultaneously help the artisan sector get a formal platform to showcase their skill, get recognised and also earn as they contribute towards preserving the heritage art forms.
